| cold house |

In a cold house, oils in bottles and vials turn to cloudy, stiff masses, inert and unpourable. In the morning, I go straight to the piano to evoke a butterfly, fluttering with a lob-sided rhythm. It's the only time my fingers move deftly enough, straight out of bed. Unless I shower. It makes you want to sleep more, do less. The cold slows down moving particles, suspending it even when sufficiently cold. However, you can make an excellent pie crust in a cold house. All your butter nice and chilly. |

maybe cinnamon in crust would work better...
yeah... I think the cheese already have affinity to apple. I don't want the crust to get left out.
I do feel like it's still missing a zinger ingredient though... |

| Greenwood Arson Community Meeting |
[Nov. 10th, 2009|08:09 pm] |
There is a nutcase running loose around my neighborhood, setting things on fire. 14 fires so far, almost all targeting small businesses... including an old school photolab a couple of days ago. Why would one do such a thing?
The turn out was huge, mcginn was there, the fire chief... Greenwood people, all out of the woodworks. We packed like sardines into the church basement, broke fire codes, yet there were more people - over a hundred, overflowing into the main congregation hall upstairs. The basement smelled absolutely human. Riveting! |

What do you guys think about the Grieg Papillon for a wedding recessional?
I've been asked to play something for my cousin's wedding.. in less than 2 months...I don't really know what people do for these things.
*update. it's a no go:
That is a beautiful piece! I think we were probably hoping for something in a major key and more upbeat?
oh kids, only if you know the shadowy valleys that you go through in such a journey. |

I was trying on a blazer in front of the mirror at the thrifstore when this little girl who looked to be about 7 approached me with a timid shuffle. She had a pink princess-tutu dress on and clearly wanted to tell me something. I looked down too see a huge pair of blue eyes peering at me. "You look very beautiful," she said. I thanked her and told her she looked beautiful too. It made her smile and she pranced away.
Of course I then started looking around to see what male adult coached her to say such a thing. I found no one. Just her mom, who instructed her to stay close by and not to meander.
I bought two of the blazers. |

| "a scone is like 4 dollars" |

I had to look for other adventures. After you've put in the time to wrestle and tame that sticky butter infused dough...mixing, rolling, cutting it to its right weight, glaze and bake, and it is "like 4 dollars", a certain reality breaks down. But Jenny kept talking to me. She was interested in me. Somewhere between my early embarkment to rockstardom and my juvenile interests, I caught her interest. |

dig, shigin
Sometimes the singing voice used in traditional Japanese songs gives creaky, strained, or pressed acoustic impressions to the audience. Observing the laryngeal gestures during a performance, hyperadduction of the vocal fold, false vocal fold, or tight closure of the glottis, which are supposed to suggest hyperfunction of the larynx, was rarely observed. This observation suggests that the traditional Japanese singing style agrees with vocal hygiene; otherwise it could not be traditional. |
